Vinyasa with Lindsey: This slow flow, vinyasa-inspired class offers a full, well-rounded and fluid practice, with good music and lots of acceptance. We'll start with a short, calming meditation, and then move with the breath and a focus on safe alignment. If you are familiar with vinyasa and ashtanga styles of yoga, you'll recognize a lot, but we will also go deeper than "power yoga" allows, and modifications/adjustments will be offered. The goal for this class is to move mindfully, have fun, and feel rejuvenated. Appropriate for all levels and ages of practitioners.
Hot Yoga: classes are the traditional Bikram 26 posture Hath yoga class practiced in a hot room. the heat helps to open and cleanse the body. It also brings the practitioner more easily to his or her edge of comfort, creating a chance to practice how we deal with that edge, encouraging and calming ourselves into moving beyond our conceived boundaries. practicing staying present with ourselves in class helps us to bring that presence into daily life.
